We're ByteWind: product engineers and designers working end-to-end on mobile apps and digital products. Founded by people who'd rather fix root causes than move tickets.
ByteWind began as a pair of iOS and Android engineers who kept getting pulled into the same kind of project: small companies with a real product idea, no technical team, and no appetite for theater.
We built a studio around that shape of client. Today we're twelve people — engineers, designers, and a handful of ops — working with startups, mid-market companies, and independent founders across fintech, logistics, health, and retail.
Typical project: one designer, two engineers, one tech lead who's part engineer, part PM. Weekly async written updates, weekly demo, monthly check-in on trajectory.
We don't bill for status meetings. If a decision needs a meeting, we take it; otherwise it lives in a doc and the week stays quiet.
The person you meet in the kick-off is the person writing the code.
Honest bands. We re-forecast every week as we learn the project.
We pick tech for the handoff, not the novelty.
Docs over calls. Loops over updates. You can always catch up.
If we can't release today, we fix the reason before we add features.
Your codebase should work without us. That's a feature, not a bug.
We're hiring senior mobile engineers (iOS, Android, Flutter) and one product designer. Async-first, with quarterly in-person weeks.
